We are actively seeking a Digital Marketing Coordinator to assist in planning and executing our Marketing Strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Plan marketing calendar events, such as Black Friday, Sales, and Special Events.
- Create, plan, and schedule content for Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and Tik-Tok accounts, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics.
- Assist with behind-the-scenes video content and support seasonal photoshoot campaigns.
- Possess basic knowledge of Shopify.
- Have experience with EDMs (Electronic Direct Mail) using Klaviyo.
- Perform basic copywriting for social media, EDMs, and the website.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills for file management.
- Manage external digital marketing and advertising campaigns while adhering to the brand's strategy.
- Graphic design experience is preferred but not mandatory.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Shows a keen interest in marketing, advertising, and content development.
- Can work both independently and as a team player.
- Has expertise in various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
- Familiarity with cloud-based marketing and project management platforms, such as Canva, Klaviyo, Later, and Shopify (preferred).
- Exhibits excellent written and verbal communication skills and a creative touch.
- Possesses exceptional time management skills and can effectively handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
As a Social Media Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
- Scheduling client Instagram and Facebook stories and posts for approval.
- Researching and creating communication materials, such as blogs, captions, and emails.
- Manage in-house imagery in accordance with our clients' brands and strategies.
- Conducting research and competitor analysis.
- Developing client reports.
- Collaborating with the team to design social media advertising campaign strategies.
- Assisting the team in strategy development.
- Supporting the team in managing social media content creation and community management.
- Being an active contributor to a fun, efficient, and progressive working environment while working closely with the team.
We have monthly team meetings and would love someone who is willing to provide input on industry trends, marketing ideas, and creative strategies.
This position offers:
- Flexible hours: 10-15 hours per week as a contractor.
- Occasional in-house workdays in Currumbin with our brand owner, but mostly work from home.
- Must have your own ABN (Australian Business Number).
